Well hello!

Saw the most gorgeous birds in a tree across the road. They appeared to be busily feeding on the gum flowers. This was as close as I could get to one of them. They also have the most beautiful green plumage on their back, wings and tail. :)

I think it might be a Splendid Parakeet (seriously!) although I'm not an expert. It lives up to its name and what a find! Lovely shot!
