Who said walking is good for you? The Dr described this as being a severe reaction to insect bites...presumably they took place during my woodland walks at the weekend.
Oooo, they are good ones, that's some reaction. I have seen bigger lumps and swellings than those but not with such large boils (?). Guess they are quite painful.
@markp@pennystot@sarah19 Thank you all for your good wishes.. It's seems overreacting is something I'm good at lol. Steroids and antihistamines are doing the trick so the pain has almost gone now. Mark I had one a few years ago with a 'boil' five times the size of these but it wasn't as painful as these because it was on my forearm... These were not only uncomfortably on fire but really hurt each time I moved my arm.. The joys of summer!!!
@sdutoit its loads better thanks, but I think I must be reacting baldly to the meds I was given as I had a migraine yesterday and another this morning...hopefully I'll be sorted soon!
