In an attempt to procrastinate, I made a heart-shaped filter (described here: http://www.diyphotography.net/diy_create_your_own_bokeh) intended to create heart-shaped bokeh. Of course, my lens only goes down to f/3.5, so no way was it going to work the way the site suggested (which called for f/1.8 or thereabouts), plus I was most likely "doing it wrong", so it didn't quite turn out.
Despite that, I went around the house taking photos, framing everything within the heart. I chose this particular photo because my parents go to the markets every Sunday morning (to buy all our fruit/veg/cheeses/cashews in bulk, as ethnic families tend to do xD). When they returned, they surprised my sisters and me with these awesome ugg boots! One sister and I got black ones, and my other sister got cream/light-brownish ones.
They are so warm and comfortable, and a welcome addition to my feet, given that winter is fast approaching. I *heart* them. xD
Edit: I figured out the bokeh thing!! Thanks to Jessa aka http://365project.org/thatlullaby :) It'll be a *photo of the day* once I get it just right. ;)
