paved paradise

Again, you find me, up late and tired and feeling a bit wistful and things...

I just went through all my really early 365 friends, those I've been following since the beginning, and was really sad to see that most of them haven't posted in over a year and seem to be well and truly gone. I miss them :(

I also haven't been happy with my photos lately... I'm not sure if it's because I'm suddenly expecting a lot more from myself for no apparent reason (I do that a lot. It's fun), or because my photos have actually gotten worse... or because I'm simply wanting to try new things with new equipment which costs money that I don't have, because I'm studying full time in a field I no longer care for - 1 year to go, thank goodness - ... or because I'm ready for some other kind of change of which I'm not yet aware...

I also get really hungry late at night. Why is that. xD
I love your work Teresa your work was really inspiring to me when I first started my project .. and still is. Hope you are ok...xx

Your photos have been an inspiration to me from the start. And you have the most fun user name on 365. :-)

Great shot! I like it. It feels a little lonely but also hopeful. There are days when we doubt ourselves. Hang in there. It will get better. 8)

Don't be so hard on yourself!!!!! I have only a few people left that I started with but I'm finding I have lots of new followers and they are inspiring me now... Follow new people and you'll be inspired again in no time!!!!

Love how the light works in this photo.

We all have uninspired times, but even photos that you don't like at all have inspired me. Thank you.

T - I hear you on the old 365 friends! When I started back up I thought "where's everyone gone!!!!??" So man lovely, lovely people....was happy to see uyou still shooting away though :)
I also hear you on the photo side of things. Youve got talent lady! And its natural that your expecting more and more of yourself. Its what pushes us to learn and do better.....but Im also a believer in cutting yourself some slack and not putting yourself under too much pressure. It sounds like youve got your hands (and mind) full with uni and photogrpahy should be something you find enjoyment in.....I think maybe we should both take each others advice on board today ;)

a midnight snack will solve 1/3 of your problems :D great shot by my standards, and thank you for all of your comments on my shots (i don't thank much but your comments have been too kind)

this is a wonderful shot, and a fav for me. And don't sweat it, the cliched 'learning curve' is a reality, it's persisting through the times when improvements are only incremental (or it even feels that you are going backwards) that get you to the next burst of creativity and learning. Hungry late at night? you're the budding MD, why don't you tell us! :)
