@pocketmouse thanks :) a cpl can be a useful addition (on top of the nd filter) because it reduces the brightness of the water more than the background. Sometimes this helps, sometimes not :)

Yeah, I have a polarising filter too, but for some reason I couldn't attach both to my lens :) I normally use the polariser on my landscape shots :) @dieter
