I haven't had a proper chance to take photos every day... I'm on the renal transplant team at the moment - medical, not surgical, which means we don't do the surgeries* - instead we look after the patients once they come out of theatre, monitor them, ensure their kidney transplants function as they're supposed to, give them medications to prevent organ rejection etc. It's interesting but really busy. The cases are quite complicated because most of the patients have a zillion other things wrong with them.
* I did, however, get called by the surgical team to come and help out with a transplant in theatre... it was amazing but completely exhausting - the operation went for 6 hours straight!
