It was mum's birthday yesterday, so we got her these - and the flowers came with the pot they're in, which works out well because mum loves gardening/planting. :)
(Also, this is my f/1.4 + my sister's 5D Mark II, which I am trying to use more so I can get used to it and work out if it's what I want. xD I'm amazed at how little noise there is at 3200 ISO!)

Wonderful shot and tones! I'm wondering how much of a difference you're seeing using your 50mm on the full frame body? Its obviously wider, but is it really noticeable through the view finder? I love my 50mm and have the 5D on my wish list too!
@aleksandra There is definitely a bit of a difference with the full frame. The 50mm on my 500D body looks pretty much as is - life-size. But the 50mm on the full frame sensor looks smaller, zoomed out, wider. It's not a bad thing because you can fit more in the frame, but it does add a bit of distortion at the edges. In this photo you can't really see it because I got quite close to the flowers and the edges are soft - but I did some test shots and the distortion was apparent.
