A Saturday morning in Melbourne, enjoying breakfast in one of the alleyways off Little Collins St!
(This is also a (poor!) attempt at my Get Pushed Week 15 challenge - taking a candid photo of a stranger! I forgot to bring my zoom lens so I couldn't get up close and do a proper candid shot, but here it is anyway!)

I really like the scene and that he is farther away. Can't decide if I find the chair in front a bit distracting though. I really like the golden tones of the windows, chair and building itself.
@newbie I had the same dilemma with the chair! I tried cropping it out but it seemed a bit empty without it. I wanted the photo to represent the exact view from where I was sitting and I guess that means the chair has to be included! lol.
Oh I'm loving it!! And what I love the most about this picture is that you made it absolutely your way and made it really good although candid photography is not what you often deal with. Tones are fabulous as usual, a part of the wall on the left makes a perfect frame and I especially love the chair, it looks great, catches the eye and balances the composition in the lower part of the picture :) Well done!!!
@pocketmouse Yeah I can see that logic, while some may find it distracting, others think it adds just the right touch. Photography is objective. It is a great photo.
Laurent looks a great place to be! The light on the chairs, focus on the chap are both perfect and I presume you are hiding behind that foreground chair??!!!!
