Beautiful photo, love the colours! I'm a sucker for that blue... Hello from your get pushed partner! I've been here for 5 days... I've always enjoyed photographing people best, trying to capture some sense of them in the image.
I was hoping to get paired with another newbie, but I can see you are far from that! Gorgeous photos you have... and lots of variety and skill, making choosing a challenge for you that much more tricky. I'm an intuitive rather than a technical photographer, as I have very limited technical knowledge (and just a little point and shoot to work with)... so I don't feel able to set a technical challenge.
So what I'm going to suggest is that you produce an image that represents you or an aspect of your life, in the style of an artist you admire. Maybe a selfie, but not necessarily, could be something that sums up some essence of yourself, maybe as a photographer, maybe an insight into an aspect of your character or where you are at right now or where you want to get to, that refers to another artist as well as representing yourself.
I'm really nervous about the get pushed challenge - more for this bit where I have to come up for something for my partner than for accepting a challenge myself. You may have got the short end of the stick being paired with an utter newb who knows not that much about photography...

As for the photograph, the wasp is well placed in the image and the patterns in the water are a gift. It's beautiful, even if it is an insect.
