Phew!!! Finally, time to stop and sit for a minute! And finally all caught up with my photos :)
These past two weeks have been INSANE. First we had the water polo grand finals, then I had to put together a 23-minute documentary to screen at our End of Season dinner last Saturday (which was received very well!); we also had to organise an end of season dinner for our club on the Friday... And the Saturday prior, I shot a wedding (which was a lot of fun!), and also did a model bridal shoot on the morning of that same day! In between all of this, I've been building a website for a client who needs it done ASAP, so I've pretty much been running around like a chicken without a head!
But as I sit here now typing this: all photos from both wedding events have been edited and collated (which took a solid 3 days' work!), water polo events are done with, and the website for my client is almost at completion :)
I also visited the dentist yesterday for painful wisdom teeth - apparently my bottom right wisdom tooth (which is the most painful) has decay and also has three roots (teeth usually have 1 or 2) which are close to a nerve, which will make extraction difficult. I take excellent care of my teeth (the dentist even said so!) but wisdom teeth are just prone to infection and decay apparently. So I got X-rays done yesterday (which showed the triple roots and the decay), and also a CT to look at the tooth up close (for which I'll get the results on Friday). If I can't get it taken out, I'll need a filling. I'd really love to get all four teeth out though - they hurt pretty much 24/7 and are an utter nuisance!
Also, Alex has been sick the past few days, so I have been trying to take care of him as well.
So yeah... that's been my life lately. xD Sorry I haven't been around much to follow and comment!!! Hope you are all well! :)

Oh my gosh -- you've had a lot on your plate! It's amazing all you've gotten done, and still managed to shoot some great photos for 365. I love the color in this one and the way it seems to burst out from the center.
Yes it's lovely on black! Pops out at you! Some dentists take the wisdom teeth out early to avoid all this problem! I know they can affect your health so knock yourself out one day and get the dentist to heave 'em out!
gorgeous photo you managed to take with all the rest of your busy incredible life.
hope the wisdom teeth come out. i know some interesting stories but will refrain from sharing. it is not too bad really. I hardly had any swelling.
i need a good website. my daughter or son or his girlfriend might help!!
enjoy your wonderful life.
such lovely dof on this shot... yes - your life sounds insane - but the photo stuff is awesome... go you! so sorry about the teeth, and about Alex tho'... so many things on your plate to juggle!
Nice shot - you have inspired me to get out my macro tubes for todays pic. As for the wisdom tooth....I feel for you!! :) It must be wisdom week. I just had my last one taken out on friday so no more wisdom for me :) It all went beautifully though and not much pain at all. Good luck
I often wonder why we have wisdom teeth, they cause so many problems! Glad you had time to post this shot it's beautiful and certainly stunning on black. Good luck with everything, I hope you get some time to relax soon.
Stories like this make me glad I was born without any wisdom teeth! I like to think it's because I am more highly evolved (haha) or maybe it means I was born wisdom-less! :) Beautiful photo!
As a dental assistant I can vouch for wisdom teeth being a real nuisance. I hope you get it all sorted without too much more pain.
I love the centres of these flowers, the deep purple and yellow is so pretty.
