BlackBerry Z10

Alex's shiny new phone :)

I have one too! They are amazing... BlackBerry have gotten a bad wrap over the years ("crapberry", etc xD) but this new generation is unlike any of their predecessors. It's fast, all-touch, and so efficient and easy to use! Kinda like an iPhone, but way better because it:

- aggregates info for your contacts from multiple platforms (facebook, email, twitter, linkedin) into one place for that contact, and you can contact them via any avenue (call, email, facebook, etc) with one touch
- lets you download and edit Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc documents
- has a pretty damn good selection of apps (100,000 and growing - a very small proportion of which have been developed by Alex and me!)
- has a 'timeshift' camera feature so you can literally go back in time with your photos - e.g. if someone blinks or isn't smiling at the exact moment - you can wind it forward/back to correct the photo
- is awesome and beautiful and oh so fast!

Gosh I sound like they're paying me. xD But having used a variety of phones and smartphones over the years (iPhone, Samsung, Nokia, even the old Motorola models), this one is really fantastic and I'm excited to see what else they do :)

If you are wandering near a phone store today - humour me and check the Z10 out. :D

Thank you for the recommendation. My iPhone is dying and I am not sure I am in the market (or want to be) to pay another high price for the phone itself or the contract with the phone company. So I am thinking of alternatives. Might have to check it out :)

I have had mostly Iphones, but am due for an upgrade. My battery doesn't last. I hadn't considered the Blackberry. Now I have to go look at it. Thanks Teresa. Will let you know if I get one. =)

It definitely has a nice look to it! My iPhone 4 is starting to act weird. The top button (screen on/screen off button thinger) isn't working right and is jammed. Maybe the blackberry world is calling me!

You've made me want to go and check this out lol. I have been sold on Samsung for a few years now... have had all the Galaxy's... well, not the latest one now released... but hmmm... don't make me want new stuff lol.
