way home

5 days and a full tank of petrol later - we head home. I always love visiting Jindabyne and the snow... there's something magical about it :)

And the drive down is so amazing - I love watching the landscape change and evolve as the temperature drops and the elevation rises :)

@maggiemae Not quite - as you travel further down south towards the Snowy Mountains, the landscape becomes more harsh and rugged, like this, and the trees go from, well, normal-looking trees with green leaves on them, to these interesting creatures! And the boulders! They just start appearing out of nowhere...
