This war memorial, built just after the First World War and added on to after the Second, is my local one. It's about 500m from my front door. I see it regularly-- and have photographed it a few times for various reasons-- but when I passed by late at night on 23 June I noticed how stark it looked against the darkness of the park behind it, and it seemed like it warranted another couple of pictures.
