I bought this costume jewellery pendant about this time of year in 2016; I think the plan was to repurpose some beads that were in its original necklace to make a bracelet but I honestly can't remember if I ended up using them for that project or not! Either way, I like swans and the pendant has stuck around, lol.
I thought the different materials in this piece might be fun to try and photograph, between the cat's eye style body, cut glass 'gems' on the neck and eye, and the detail in the metalwork feathers. I'm not sure the cat's eye came out quite as I was hoping, but it was fun to play with.
