I walked some of the trails at our favourite park alone this evening; once we got there Chris was not up to it after all, so he napped in the car (and saved himself some mosquito bites, haha). I didn't see many creatures out, though I wouldn't be surprised if they're rather hiding from all the smoke. I did see this Baltimore Oriole-- he didn't want to come right out to where I was, but he did seem curious about me, watching me through the leaves like that!
