We went down to the river (the Grand) around sunset, and we saw about 8 herons while we were there! There was one Great Blue, but the rest were Black-Crowned Night Herons. There were a couple of adults, but most were juveniles like this one. It was by far the most bold, hanging out right at the edge of the river where people sit.
