Stretching Into the Sky

We had to run into the city early this morning to take care of some things. It didn't go as planned-- although it seems to have worked out alright, ultimately-- and it ended up being a very long and taxing day. I took the camera along but I didn't end up having time to endeavour to take photos. I did, however, snap this phone pic in the morning while hurrying between a provincial government office and the Toronto Reference Library.

The windows stretching into the sky in this photo are those of a 56-storey condo tower that was completed in 2021 (or it may be 58 stories, depending which info source you believe). I thought it had interesting design/architectural features. I took this picture while standing on Yonge Street, but the condo building is actually located on an intersecting road (Yorkville Avenue). I like the view of it from Yonge though, because I like the juxtaposition of the very modern tower with the old windows and rooflines of Yonge Street's 19th century commercial buildings, which can be seen from this angle peeking in at the bottom of the frame.
Awesome shot and info.
