My flight out of Philadelphia was delayed due to weather. Walking around the airport I noticed this rocking chair by the window. I hope it was not a sign of how long I will be in the airport. We boarded our flight then had to wait on the runway for more than an hour before the plane finally got clearance to take off. Made it home by midnight, whew!
Who doesn't love a rocking chair? They are so very comforting. One can rock to the rhythm of a song; rock a baby to sleep with a lullaby; close one's eyes, relax and rock; read a book; knit; crochet; watch the rain or snow fall; bird watch; watch the sun rise or set... Rocking chairs are GREAT! Nice pic.
