I just came back tonight from our book club discussing "The Launching Years". These are the years from senior high school to college freshman. We are all moms with teens getting ready for college applications, all anxious in both similar and different ways. The photo I took this afternoon became more symbolic to me, that changing times of the season, when the little "helicopters" are getting ready to fly off into the unknown, carrying the seeds of the tree within them. I wish them all good luck in their landings.
Well, I can tell you that somehow these helicopters will end up in my gutters ;-). Enjoy the transition to college years... we've done it 3 times and it is a blast for the parents' too!
