This morning I used a new app (Vignette) for my phone and took 2 pictures, one of my husband reading the newspaper (sports section) and his box of cereal on the table and of our dog laying by the fireplace. My spouse got the spot for my photo of the day. I guess this is a category, SOOPA - straight out of phone app. I was going to crop but decided against it since I like the total look.
I laughed when you add “(Sports section)”. I should show this shot to our local newspaper – not everyone reading news from internet. Love the setting, so familiar and at the same time so ancient.
@hjv thanks for the suggestion. I think making it black gives too much black space on that side. @yaorenliu our family still like the paper part of the newspaper. I prefer the local news and comics section :-)
