I just finished my photojournal for tomorrow's class. The challenge this week is to do a self-portrait. It did not necessarily mean a selfie but I decided I should actually represent myself using my eyes. It was scary seeing myself eye-to-eye, especially looking at all the age lines. What I did like about it is that, somehow, the right eye "scientist side" is darker, shows more stress even with an eye bag, while the left eye "artist side" is brighter, better reflection of the window, and more full of hope! The writing is not as clear as an artist since I'm not really sure yet what type of photographer I will be. This was actually within one photo I took this morning!
Such an interesting observation and interpretation, I shall have a look at my eyes. I assume that most people are with wrinkled left eye as we are so troubled with finding the scientific truth which does not really exists in a wider sense. In terms of art, there is no such thing as right or wrong.
Really like your analysis, thank you.
