Little leis

I don't know what tree this is but it looks like it should be in Hawaii with the little leis it has as blooms. I am still on the look-out for signs of spring in our neighborhood :-) As a side note, my dad made up the spelling of my name from lei. I was born before Star Wars, but please don't try to guess how young I am - LOL!

The danglies are catkins - a name given to this kind of flower some trees have. Willows, alders, oaks just some of the trees that have them - they are so pretty! Lovely DOF.
