Katy was moved to a regular room last night which indicates that prayers are working (don't give up). Her blood has been thinned to the desired level and she is feeling well (given her current state of problems). We are hoping that she will be released home. She will need a home health care nurse to monitor thinning agent levels but selfishly I say, she will be home.
She got some great cards from some 365 friends that made a "super smile" on her face as they were read to her by her sister Marilyn.
Looking good sista!!!!! Love to see that smile! So once your blood is skinny enough you can go home!!! Oh goody! I do hope that the regular room is decent enough after the VIP/ high tech stuff that you have been used to!!! :-) Keep smiling...you'll get there!
Whew! I am all caught up, wow Katy, what a journey! i have to say for everything you have been through you look amazing! Beautiful smile, beautiful soul. Keeping you in my prayers!
Oh, Katy, thinking of you every, every day! So glad they are keeping an eye on those clots. You are a true beauty dear. I've been taking lots of abstracts lately, and I must be channeling you. Here's today's: http://365project.org/darylo/365/2013-11-10
Dear Katy, so happy to see that beautiful smile and to know you're in regular room. Another excellent news I just read from your hubby is that all our messages are read to you, since its my only way to get in touch with you, dear. Keep the good attitude and soon you will get better to go home. Love, hugs, and my prayers for you
Dear Katy, you REALLY are looking healthier and happier in this shot! I tried to google your address...but I got two possible results... would love to know your address so I could send a card! Anyway, you look GREAT in this shot! Glad you are a bit better...keep on getting back to your old self
Definitely looking good, Katy. So glad you are improving and got moved to a regular room. Sounds like you have wonderful Drs and treatment along with family and friends to get you to this point. Looking forward to hearing that you are on your way home or at home. I do not have your address to send you a card but know that I do wish you the very best. I posted some pretty flowers on my project for you. Thank you again to your wonderful husband for keeping us up to date. Hugs to you, Katy.
@espyetta This is Katy's sister, Marilyn. I sent Katy's mailing address to Darlene ( @darsphotos ) via the email address she put in her post on Nov 16th so if you want it too, you can email Darlene.
@marilyn Thank you, Marilyn. I got your email and Katy's address.
@espyetta If by chance you did not get Katy's address, feel free to email me MaryBeth at

In subject please put 365 and your name or something to identify you so I do not trash it by accident. Have no idea how I got in charge of giving people her physical address but happy to do so.
Just a reminder that ALL of your messages are read to her at bedside. I am just the messenger from her friends to Katy.
