@darsphotos Marilyn here... The term shower is used very loosely here! Her showers consist of sitting in the tub on a shower chair and doing a sponge bath on the upper body because the halo brace vest cannot get wet. She does get to use a hand-held shower on her lower body which is so much better than the bed sponge baths she was getting in the hospital!
@marilyn Thank you for letting me know as I was curious and know that the halo cannot get wet. So what is she doing about her hair? It is so nice to have a shower massage to use and get nice and clean on her lower body. The simple things in life that we take for granted. I sit on a chair to take a shower and use our shower massage due to vertigo from a neck injury. I was going to tell Katy what I have learned to do over the years but seems like she is doing great. You are sometimes forced to adapt in a moment.
