Hang in there Katy. Tightening can only mean one thing, healing and then one day you will be waiting in that same office to have it removed. Great to see you smiling!

Actually it went very well. She is going to one more screw tightening session in two weeks and then in two weeks after that session she will have her CAT scan and it could be a possibility that she would get it off and replaced with a normal neck brace.
So glad that it is getting closer to this halo being removed and Katy being healed enough to not have to wear it any more and advancing to a neck brace. Fingers crossed. That smile is priceless.
@prn Oh man! Maybe the end of the HALO is in sight! Praying! Praying! She is going to feel like a new woman! I cannot wait for that day! She will be so happy. She surely looks pretty relaxed and happy here, even thought waiting for that horrible tightening. I talk to Katy on my pics now..and her pics, but just in case she isn't getting that, tell her I said HAPPY NEW YEAR! and Happy New Year to you too!
