Spiny encounter!

Another shot from our day in the snow at Perisher valley. Never expected to see an Echidna trotting over the snow, and he never expected to see us; burying deep into the snow when we got close.
If you ever get this close remember to pat with the grain! ha ha.

Beaut shot Wylie, we saw two of these little critters this afternoon but one vamoosed across the road and the other into a culvert before I could get my camera out. Nice to see them out and about :)
