Just had to sneakily capture all of these strangers sitting cheek by jowl at tiny tables, eating, drinking and smoking.
Seems to work and we partook numerous times:) (not the smoking)
The smoking really bugged me...big time. I felt like a smoking snob. Not used to being so surrounded by it in the US. We also at at a cafe where they would not let us sit side by side at the table even when we asked to. It was strange. All in all a great place to visit and time. How was your time?
@alophoto We had a lovely time but we did find the all pervasive smoking strange and unpleasant. very pleased to be home and away from breathing other people's smoke!
@pusspup That's funny that you noticed that, too. I love my fresh clean air. But I did like the European cars...came back and noticed all the big SUVs and pick up trucks. And loved all of the fresh markets and how people walked everywhere. Definitely some cool perks there. Loved the oldness and history of it, too. America is so new in comparison.
