Snow at the beach?

No, lots of foam from the outpourings of the recently opened inland lake. Lots of lake contents flowing out to sea created a dark and foamy surf for a couple of days. It did look a bit like snow!
Thanks everyone for Xmas wishes on yesterdays culmination of the 12-days of Christmas. I had lots of fun creating it.

That is quite the froth. Why was the channel dug to let the lake flow into the sea?

@falcon11 it’s a natural thing , sometimes with a bit of help, to clean out the lake which might be open or closed to the ocean for months or years depending on conditions.
