A lovely opportunity to capture both some beautiful boabs and the impressive ranges of the East Kimberley.
The fact that we were on the wrong road and nearly missed catching up with our friends due to the wrong turn didn't matter much after we found this scene to shoot!
You've brought your followers an image of the desolate spaces that make up so much of Australia! It's a wonder that anyone can find one another out there! (Having spent several years in the south of Arizona, I love the beauty that's so different to lush, watered yards!)
@maggiemae Apart from crocodiles and sharks, both of which need salt water, and snakes, humans are pretty much the top of the food chain here! @randystreat the boabs are the line of trees in front, closest to camea. @Weezilou thanks Louise, we just love this country, its so vast and magnificent. @onewing actually they've had a good wet season and things are relatively green :)
