Agapanthus by pusspup

Agapanthus

They are lovely even though they are an unwanted weed here at the edge of the national park!
That's funny to think of agapanthus regarded as weeds. They are cherished here in gardens and we have visited open day at a beautiful specialist agapanthus nursery located in the New Forest!

I love aggies. They aren't causing significant problems here (yet). As a precaution we cut off the spent flowers before the seedpods open.

Unwanted as in invasive? Non-native? They sure are pretty. I thought you might be showing us a bouquet.

Sure makes a nice flower arrangement. Too bad that it is considered a week. Great capture.

@randystreat thanks Kathy, yes all that, invasive and non native, much as I love them, they shouldn't be here as they do invade the native forest.
