Lake George pano

This is a wide but shallow lake and its rapid filling and emptying has generated many myths over the years. Basically it has a large feeder system and is subject to high evaporation rates!

I love the way the clouds are suspended in the air in this shot. They hang that way as we drive across NY state in the Finger Lake region when we go to see our son and his family. I always feel like one could jump up there and land on them like landing on a pillowed bed. Great shot!
