Once the temperature had dropped into the low 30s we took a stroll along the Katherine river.
Much more water in the river than our last visit so the landscape was quite different.
We saw quite a few rainbow bee eaters (birds) flitting amongst the tree tops capturing the insects that came out with the evening, but we were not prepared for bird photography sadly.
