Beam drop

Beam drop . Chris Burden U.S.A.2009 . Steel and concrete.The concrete square is is 12 X 12 mtr. ( +/- 40 feet ) and 100 beams are dropped in it from a height (distance) of 45 mtr. ( +/- 148 feet )
This is one of the modern sculptures in Middelheim Be.
What an interesting sculpture! I like the collage so I can see it from many angles. Thanks!

What an unusual sculpture! Reminds me of dropping pins and having them stick in the carpet.
