Ploughed and harrowed , waiting for the sower

No. this are no rocks , this isn`t a dessert . This is the best soil you can get : Clay. Clay ploughed and harrowed ,dried by the summer sun . Hard to work on but the rewards are to it .
Wow, great shot. Good explanation. What do they plant in that clay?

Your pictures on agriculture are so lovely and with the added information so interesting. I love gardening but I rarely get good results.

you will have to tell us what makes this soil so good. It's very interesting!

@jenrobcarr Clay is a sediment of mountains, transported by rivers and settle down in delta`s. it `ve a lot of minerals and is a great medium to grow plants on/in The structure/ composition of clay is great for plants. it can hold on water a long time and to much of it will flood away. If farmers complain about weather conditions ( rain or dry ) we say : on clay it always exceed one`s expectation.

I find it so hard that anything can grow in this clay, but I cannot deny the results that you have shown us of the potatoes, corn, flowers ect. I try to imagine a tiny seed pushing It's way up through that clay in process of germination,...but seeing is believing, I am however still amazed.......
