I guest most of you know potato`s only for the food. But when the potato plants are blooming the fields are as beautiful as flower fields. There are much various between the flowers in number , size and colors. ( Withe to purple ) Even me they fools me as I drove to capture flower flowers and it shows up to be potato`s ( again )
Thank you for you great support and you beautiful pic.`s .

I love your title! The perspective in the main shot is great and it's good to see the flower larger. They are a lovely delicate mauve. I'll never forget, as a child, having fresh small new potatoes dug up from a relative's garden.

Beautiful collage. I have planted a few (very few) potatoes in my garden, just for the fun of it. They didn't produce flowers as lovely as these.

I love your agricultural photos, Pyrrhula. This one is no exception. We grow potatoes in our garden and this is the first year we've had a problem with the deer eating them. Hope they recover!

@roejan I hope you do mean the deer ?. All green parts of a potato plant are poisonous.

I learned something new today, thanks to you. didn't know that the greens are poisonous. mind you the flowers are just beautiful. I guess when we passed some potato fields it was too early to see the flowers.
thanks for sharing this information and I hope the deer survived his meal.

@pyrrhula I know the plants are supposed to be poisonous. I can not understand why the deer are eating them! They are eating MANY of my plants this year and there are certainly plenty of wild plants around that they could eat, but they seem to enjoy the ones I try to grow. :-(
