An old flax barn by pyrrhula

An old flax barn

In the past the cultivation of flax was of more important as it is now. For the oil but also for the fabrication of linen. (damask )To make from the flax treads was done in barns like this one and is typical for it. Just a few remains . The black color is also typical for this barns as they always where painted with tar.
I love your pov and love barn pictures. This one is very interesting looking.
