As I got a nice request or there are any views how our country have looks like in the past this two pic.`s. made at a small part of the country that`s still in the old style saved.
Right pic. : a dike and a old road on it
Left pic. : a pasture /grazing/meadow land as in the past and not cultivated. The blackberry/bramble bushes was used as a hedge to have the cow`s/animals inside

Great shots. I am old enough to enjoy seeing your glimpses of the past. When I was a child, we fenced in our cattle with multiflora bushes. My best friend lived on a farm too. A levy ran along the western edge of her family's farm. The road along the dike really reminds me of the road along the levy. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

@carwyn3 Sand and gravel roads are something of the past. When I was a kid we did have a lot of them than on the country . Now they are all covert with asphalt
