This afternoon we ( my wife and I ) did get back to the area ( island) with the bulb fields. Lucky enough there where some fields left with blooming tulips so I got my pic.`s . More then 100. ( As I`ve told : the flowers have to be cut off for better growing of the bulb . This field was on turn tomorrow.)

I love the beautiful panels of colour here! It's heart-breaking to think these flowers will just be cut away to make for better bulbs! (I told Ken that, and he said that those bulbs are probably Holland's biggest export...so they seem to know what they're doing!) I'll fave them for the memory!

We can never see enough of them. so bring them on. you're right..our lovely tulips growing in our garden came from Holland. I still have to look forward to them. lots of green but no flowers yet. right now they're underneath a layer of snow again.
