To show the high of the dike I did n`t retouch the sign and the two cars ( right hand side of the pic) witch I normally do .

I never anticipated the scale of the dikes! You know, as a child, we American kids saw book illustrations of a boy with his finger in the dike which resembled a wall! I/we learn so much by looking at our photos from far-off places! This is lovely...and...

to show how much I really like this perspective, I'll send you a photo of a painting I bought and brought home from Nova Scotia... it has much this same feel, but in a painterly fashion... ...next week...
