Simply wonderful ,Pyrrhula --such wonderful colour , and great detail in the centre of the flower -- Love the way you have softened the edges as it fades away . A lovely presentation and neatly framed ! A certain FAV !
Do you get the frame for your picture in Picasa? I have nothing like that in my picasa. I have Picasa 3...and there're no ways to make a frame except for the white one around a picture. no color or anything.

I use Picasa 3 . From : even more fun and useful image processing ( on the right side) I use : Border ( the third line with : - neon - comic book - and border.)
The border gives two borders (out and inner) witch you can change the color and size of. Even a corner radius and caption height.

I did find the place for the border. so if you like to have a border around the picture in color and you like to put them into a collage, you have to the border on first. once you put a picture into a collage you have no choice for a colored border only a white one. is that correct. when you do a collage you probably use a different application than Picasa. thanks again for the information, it was really helpful. I had never noticed otherwise.
@bruni Yes. That`s the way to do it. (you can use the given colors but also use a color from out of the pic. ( first choose color and than the color out of the pic. you like)
