I visited an other city last Sunday and found this beautiful door. I like to share it as the saying on it (in a very old fashion Dutch language , I barely can read it) On the top it say`s : Wie God wil = +/- God decide. The line/quote say`s : Vriheyten is om gheen ghelt te coop. = +/- Freedom is not paying.

Beautiful ornate doorway, Pyrrhula. The saying is so true even to this day. I have seen many beautiful churches and cathedrals in the Uk, some of them had statues with the heads cut off and the walls painted over. Such a pity to lose so much beautiful artwork.
