I`m not a big fan for taken car pic.`s but this time I like to show the size of this old dike and the small road on it. No, you can`t pass. You`ve to be courteous when you see one and find a place and wait .
Too narrow to pass -- you can see the tire marks ion the soft grass verge where the car has had to go off the road to pass another vehicle ! What a lovely blue sky !
Lovely capture. One thing people in Malta lack is patience. So you would find people quarrelling on who should pass first on a road like this - and we have quite a few of them.
Great shot - I don't think the drivers here would cope with one-lane roads - they can barely drive when they have three lanes on each side! I think there'd be regular stand-offs where no-one would move for hours!
Nice capture and I see how narrow the road is. This reminds me of all the country lanes where I live where you have to be just as courteous, sometimes you do have to do a lot of reversing !!
Ferry this looks so familiar as our roads in Germany when has comes from have the same small roads and one has to go onto the side to let another pass. but the drivers in your country and I also noticed in rural Germany are used to it and very friendly about it.
