Dike roads . The size. by pyrrhula

Dike roads . The size.

I`m not a big fan for taken car pic.`s but this time I like to show the size of this old dike and the small road on it. No, you can`t pass. You`ve to be courteous when you see one and find a place and wait .
The car gives great perspective to the size - and that doesn't look like that big of a vehicle. Looks like a beautiful day!

Its good to have the car in it to show the width of the road. You wouldnt want to be going too fast or you might get a big shock

Too narrow to pass -- you can see the tire marks ion the soft grass verge where the car has had to go off the road to pass another vehicle ! What a lovely blue sky !

Good shot to show how narrowness of the road. The scenery and the sky are beautiful.

Hopefully this isn't heavily traveled. You have given us a good idea of how narrow the road is. When I drive I want passing room or watch out!

There are some spots like that around here- but mostly caused by construction! I'd much rather wait my turn in this kind of scenery. Pretty shot!

Beautiful capture, Pyrrhula.

Very narrow, aren't they? How far would you have to back up to be courteous? It doesn't look as though you can pull to one side.

How interesting! What a tight squeeze.

That is a narrow road! Look at the blue sky, I'd like to keep going down the road and enjoy the sights!

Thanks for sharing. Suppose one drives at a low speed.

That is a narrow road :)

Lovely capture. One thing people in Malta lack is patience. So you would find people quarrelling on who should pass first on a road like this - and we have quite a few of them.

Mooie opname. Ik hou wel van die dijkweggetjes.

Great shot - I don't think the drivers here would cope with one-lane roads - they can barely drive when they have three lanes on each side! I think there'd be regular stand-offs where no-one would move for hours!

Great shot, the car really shows how narrow the road is.

Nice capture and I see how narrow the road is. This reminds me of all the country lanes where I live where you have to be just as courteous, sometimes you do have to do a lot of reversing !!

A lovely looking day and scene.

Ferry this looks so familiar as our roads in Germany when has comes from have the same small roads and one has to go onto the side to let another pass. but the drivers in your country and I also noticed in rural Germany are used to it and very friendly about it.

Thank goodness the Dutch are so friendly!

Love it...fav

Its like Cornish roads. Don't drive on them unless you're good at reversing. Nice shot
