There are still some of this old, not been asphalded , country roads. In my youth this was very common . It makes me feel happy to find one and accept gladly the cleaning of the car afterwards.
This is our type of road. It means our car is always dirty and when we go to Gladstone it easily identifies us as "bushies" - the Australian slang name for people from the country.

Nicely composed! We have quite a few of those roads in Victoria - they're not always very good for the car though, with all the bumping and gravel flying!
