I'm amazed to see them all blooming at once. How do they market them? Do they dig them up and sell them individually or are they there to make new bulbs to sell?
How pretty! It seems like we were just looking at these fields with nothing in them during winter. It's great to see how quickly the flowers come up. Nice shot!
@vernabeth Dear Beth. Those bulbs are young ones contracted to grow bigger. After the grow and harvest they go back to the firm they belong to and those decide what is the next step. The farmer is payed by them for this growing.
What a glorious carpet of white! Skip's comment @skipt07 makes me realize how few stems we ever see together being sold in the store...*maybe* a dozen at the most!
I live in the same country as @pyrrhula
He has tulip fields, I have daffodils... https://365project.org/gijsje/365
