Only temporarily..where is it suppose to go from there and what is it suppose to be. the statue in the back is very appealing.

The two figures are very charming but the "Erased" is too modern for me and really spoils the effect of the beautiful figures !

Quite moderrn, aren't they. To me, Erased appears to have been erased with nothing but dust left. I guess that's the point.

Middelheim`s explanation:
In spite of the `hard`materials it is made from, this work does have a poetic character. It resembles a silenced, frozen fountain, the stern contours of wich are in contrast with the classical sculptires nearby. Nevertheless, movement is implied through the liquid quality of concrete. The sculpture , with its rough materials that could easily come from a building site, causes a disruption in this idylic part of the park.
