I was going to be cheeky and ask what the cattails are grown for, but that would just be silly as I know they're not in the field. They look very nice alongside it though! Good shot.

@olivetreeann Cattails are growing in the ditches along side of the fields. The ditches are a part of draining / watering the fields.
