Water tower of Middelburg

The water tower in Middelburg , in the Dutch province of Zeeland , was built between 1891 and 1892 . The design in eclectic style is by constructor Th. Rod. The water tower has a water reservoir of 300 m 3 .

The water tower was converted into a holiday residence (For rent) in 1998. The elevator is placed outside the tower. Part of the roof has been replaced by a roof terrace. The pumping station behind the tower has been converted into an office

Your water towers really are the most architecturally interesting water towers I've ever seen. Some of them in the US have interesting paint jobs, but none of them are constructed as beautifully as these. Nice shot.
