Just the country

Just the countryside. Like much of this has been created by human activity. The land has been drained and the excess water drained into ditches (here next to the road) that are also interconnected with pipes. This is pumped up and discharged into the river. By long dries it turns around
The farmer (and I) can come to the land over the dams in the ditches, which you can clearly see on the left. Love that barbed wire is not used. Crops: Beets and rapeseed.
