This plant/flower is a very common plant in the schorren that can lives in salt water. The leaves are used as a vegetable and becomes more and more in popularity .( the bigger leaves in this pic.)

This is such a pretty statice, but different to the one I grow (Limonium perezii). I didn't know that the leaves were edible. I wonder if that applies to mine too.

I don't think I've ever seen this plant/flower in anything but a flower bouquet. It's lovely.

Limonium sinuatum grow in Dalmatia but climate there is warmer than in Netherland. The weather is dry and this plant grow between stones.
