For me, it's the space, the emptiness, the vastness.

I am in total agreement with you! I always used to wonder why I loved the sight of the ocean disappearing into the horizon or the way a large field seemed to spread out and touch the sky. They have always been the kind of landscape I could stare at for hours. And then I met you here on 365 and saw your lovely landscapes and knew- it's in my blood! I think my genes know that generations back my great great great...relative stood at a landscape just like this and loved it as much as I do now. I love the feeling of how big the sky and land is and how small it makes me feel, yet to know Someone cares for me! Sorry to ramble- obviously I would join an "Open Landscape" Club if there was one!
